Stuart is a founding member with Brave New World Rep. With the company: The Merry Wives Of Windsor Terrace, The American Clock, On The Waterfront, The Halloween Plays; numerous salons including Hotel Paradiso, Uncle Vanya, School For Wives, Old Times (Dir.). On Broadway, Stuart created the roles of Goldberg in The Wild Party and The Mayor of Whoville in Seussical (also original cast recordings), and can currently be seen in the Disney musical hit Newsies. Off-Broadway credits include the original Little Shop of Horrors, Lucky Stiff, All In The Timing, A Dybbuk (at the Public), Mr. President, Retribution, and he was critically acclaimed for his performances in The Grand Tour and Kuni-Leml (for which he was the subject of an Al Hirschfeld caricature!). National Tour credits include Crazy For You, Applause, Falsettos, Into The Woods and Tintypes. Regional performances include Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, Mr. Dussel in The Diary of Ann Frank (both at Syracuse Stage), Sunset Boulevard (Ogunquit Playhouse), The Miracle Worker (Paper Mill Playhouse), The Sound Of Music (Sacramento Music Circus) and Enter Laughing (Berkshire Theatre Festival). On TV, Stuart has been featured on all three Law & Order shows (a total of 5 appearances), 30 Rock and Blue Bloods, and is a familiar face and voice in commercials and voice overs. He was the original voice of Professor Oak in the popular animated series Pokemon, which he did for nearly a decade. Recent film credits include the web series Small Miracles, the indie short The Testimony of Erin J, and the Turkish/American feature Things I Cannot Tell. He and his family reside happily in Brooklyn.
